August 25th Meeting!

First meeting will be on August 25th at The Art Institute of Seattle. We have a few presenters that will be showing some cool stuff, as well as some awesome prizes to give away! This will be a great chance to meet other motionographers and VFX artists in the area, and network with your peers! This meeting is free thanks to our sponsors, and be sure to go and join the Facebook group to let us know if you are coming! You don't have to but that would be nice... :)

Hey this sounds great. Of course, I’m on the wrong coast, but… hopefully you will be meeting at some predictable and consistent intervals? That allows folks like myself to arrange to use skymiles way in advance, or to be mindful to schedule other Seattle trips to coincide with an AESeattle meeting.

Best of luck tomorrow night! Have fun.

Hi. I’m very interested in this. Of course, I have somewhere else I must be tonight, (open all week, just busy tonight). Can I get on your mailing list and be notified for the next meet up? Thanks much.

We will have a full schedule up very soon, it is all dependant upon the Art Institute. We are going to have meetings every month, but every month they will alternate between a presentation based meeting or like a demo reel critique/group project type of meeting…. Will let you know!

That’s too bad, its gonna be a blast! Hopefully we will see you next month! It will either be themed for a demo reel critique night, or a group project… and of course… door prizes!

We have a twitter.com/aeseattle or you can sign up for our feed by clicking the icon up in the top of the sidebar!

This sounds great, but a bit more notice would have been even greater – i’ve gotta be elsewhere tonight. I’m siging up for the event tweets, but if I get a zillion non-AE event or silly tweets I’ll un-sign. keep it meaningful, please. With enough notice (at least a week?) I could probably get there. Would love to be part of AE Seattle.

  • Hi, I would love to attend but cannot this month. Sept/ Oct looks good though. I would very much like to meet up with every one and net work some stuff together.

    I’m so there :D

Wow, it looks like I just missed the first meeting! How do I get on a list for futher ones? I worked at Adobe for 9 years in research/support. AE is my favorite program on the planet. I use it to create VJ content but am shifting my style so I can get more traditional work. I’d LOVE to meet other AE geeks!!

I’m down for the next one. Found out just a little too late this time. Looking forward to it! :)
